Since 2023, APE has been recognised as a registered training organisation under number 11 75 67109 75. This registration does not constitute academic recognition (article L.6352-12 of the Labour Code). APE is a member of the Federation for European Education.

APE offers certified training in psychoanalysis.

Master's Degree in Psychoanalysis

APE delivers a Master's Degree in Psychoanalysis after 3 years for candidates who have already started a personal analysis, or 4 years with a preparatory year for those who wish to start their personal analysis. This Master's degree is 100% accessible online with evening and weekend courses.

The Masters in Psychoanalysis is also available through the VAE, which is a validation of acquired experience for candidates with a proven track record as a psychoanalyst.

Doctorate

In 2024, APE starts a new doctoral training programme for candidates who wish to conduct research in the field of psychoanalysis. This new programme will be accessible with a Master's degree in Psychoanalysis or equivalent.
